Don’t miss these creative event highlights in London this September
One of the things that makes London so exciting is that it’s buzzing with creative energy. And of course, a trade fair or festival is a magnet for first-class talent to showcase their work and ideas. In fact, September in London brings two major events on the design calendar – London Fashion Week, and the London Design Festival.
London Fashion Week
Fashionistas already know this is a massive highlight, showcasing work by leading designers. And you don’t have to be a fashion industry insider to have the chance to go behind the scenes. Because London Fashion Week are offering tickets on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September for an immersive experience.
The ticket includes a chance to see a Designer Catwalk show, and access to the inspiring Positive Fashion exhibition and talk, among other highlights. Oh, and a London Fashion Week tote bag. We think that might be the best holiday souvenir ever!
London Fashion Week takes place at The Store X, 180 Strand. Ticket prices start at £135.
London Design Festival
If fashion’s not your cup of tea, but you do like to be creatively inspired, guess what? It’s also the month of the London Design Festival. This is a huge celebration of all kinds of design. Not only unique temporary outdoor spaces, but also architecture, interiors, products and materials.
The hub of the Festival is the V&A Museum. However, there are loads of events and projects throughout London. These are clustered in ‘design districts’, so you can see and attend several installations or events in one area. And there’s plenty to do and enjoy for free.
The Festival runs from 14th to 22nd September throughout London.
